Hi All, Im flying to the cologne-bonn airport in Germany this month for the "Rock am ring" festival in nurburg (not to be confused with nuremberg) at the nurburing Formula 1 race track. The airport is the closest to the festival but It's still a 90 minute drive by car to the festival in nurburg.

I'm looking for info regarding transport in germany, Are the trains expensive? Is there a regular bus service? etc.. Any info here would be much appreciated I just wanna make sure I can get from A to B without too much hassle or confusion. Thanks People!:)

I did a quick search, but bearing in mind I don't know your travel details I can't get a result for you.

Have a look here: http://www.db.de/site/bahn/en/start.html for information and you can do a search for trains etc in the top left corner of the homepage.

Looks like three trains and a bus to get there, but don't worry, German trains (and most european trains) run on time all the time and generally, it's easy to get around on them.

From the info I got, the trip from airport to circuit is just over 3 hours and will cost around €22 one way.
