Hi there I have a standard Dell pc running windows xp.
My pc is fairly messed up and the System Restore doesnt seem to help.
I want to restore the pc to its factory settings.
Iv done it once before but cant remember how to start the process (was about nine months ago that I restored it to its factory settings).
Has anyone done this with a Dell recently?
    Many thanks.

    1. Turn on the computer and watch the keyboard status lights.
    2. Immediately upon seeing the lights flash, press <Ctrl><F11>.
If you do not press <Ctrl><F11> in time, let the computer finish restarting, and then restart the computer again.

Make sure you backup all your important stuff first, cos this will completely wipe your hard disk. Good luck!
