Torn between two cameras!

    Im looking to buy a new digital camera, nothing too expensive, budget of about €200 and am looking at the fuji f20 and the canon powershot a550 and was interested to see what you knowledgeable folks had to say.
    It will be mostly used for parties, bbqs, family occasions and that kind of thing. I realise for that price Im not going to be getting anything that will set the world alight but would like the best that I could get!

    another camera which is around your budget is the fuji F30. it's an awesome camera for low light and should suit your needs down to a T. check out its review on www.dpreview.com, he loved it there. I don't know anything about the canon, so i won't comment on it.

    the f30 is actually discontinued but replaced by the f31fd which gets a very glowing review everywhere from what I can see, and its only €205!
