How easy a laydown should this be?

OK, not a super interesting hand but its a situation that is repeatedly cropping up for me in online tournies. Live i find it a lot easier to get away in these situations.
    Ipoker 5000 GTD Double stack
    Playing 4 handed Blinds 1500/3000
    SB 56000
    BB(villain)
    Hero 80000
    Button
The other two players left arent up to much as far as i can tell.
    Payout 1st 1770
    2nd 1180
    3rd 590
    4th 470

History - Have not been involved in two many hands of note with villain before but have been most aggressive player pre and post flop. Pulled a checkraise stop and go on him a few orbits earlier when he was stealing my BB. (was 6 handed then)

I get JJ utg and raise it to 9000. Fold, fold and villain reraises to 27000 from the BB. I ship and he calls with QQ. GL , WP , GG.

My question is, is this just unlucky 4 handed or should this be an easy laydown. I have to say in similar spots live i can fold but online i have great difficulty when it is shorthanded to lay down QQ or JJ unless up against an absolute nit. Its costing me moolah, 3rd time this month I've ran QQ/JJ into the only guy who covers me when 3/4 handed. Opinions?

i go broke in this situation every time aswell...im sure some1 will post up the likehood of running into qq,kk or ace ace 4 handed!

Only time you could seriously consider passing here is a wsop sat for example with 3 packages on offer and 4 players left.

Come on. If his range includes TT, AQ and AK you know you have to push. I have pushed here and seen donkeys call with 55 and KQ, even at final tables with a decent payout.

You'd have to be certain this guy is Really tight to fold Jacks.

them bloody HOOKS will break me every time aswell

the problem is that while they look like a great hand, very colorful hand ok, but thats about it, either you play them like aces or hope to catch a set on the flop.

all i know is that when i see them an alarm goes off in my head

    "Danger Will Robinson, Danger"

I'm really not good enough to offer advice, but i would fold to that sized raise in that situation, a player of your skill level should probably wait and beat these guys after the flops with skillful play

theres hardly going to be much post flop play with 4 left in a mtt givin the stacks.

i shove 100% of the time btw

You've been the most aggressive player at the table. He could be playing back with any pair, any Ace, any 2 suited broadway cards. You're miles ahead of his range.

    Ship the sherbert every time...

    .

I really wouldn't worry about this too much. If you are going to laydown JJ here then you will be quite exploitable four - handed.

Umn, that is what I said?

it kinda depends on how the other 2 guys are stacked behind you here. mostly (90%) of the time im all in here baring one of the other guys is very short stacked (3/4 big blinds), if he/she is then il fold though im not saying its easy. i also agree with your point that laying this kind of hand down is alot easier live than online.

If your folding jacks here your probably folding to many hands 4 handed. Getting it all in here has to be +EV.

depending on the size of stack the other 2 plebs had

if they are low stacked, i might wait for a better opportunity, but then thats my tight hat on

if they have a big stack, i'd shove em all in, no guts no glory hat there

tbh, you have to assume you are ahead in a 4 handed game, and if you are like me, shove and gamble

usually, 4 handed, any ace is good, but then you done have one

    confused yet?

shove em in. every time in this situation

no wonder i cant finish higher than 2nd
