Lost Passport probs

Just a quick one that has prob been answered here a million times...so sorry :rolleyes:

Lost my passport:eek: - what is the quickest way to get a new one? Plan to go away in the next 3 weeks, is there any chance I could get new one by then?

You'll need to get a form signed by the Guards saying you've lost it, get that done today. Get your photos today too and be ready to go into the post office first thing in the morning, and send everything off using Passport Express. It'll cost a bit more but it should get to you within 10 days.

Three weeks should be doable, but you'll have to apply in person. To be absolutely certain of getting it as soon as possible, show proof of imminent travel. They charge more for that though.

And don't forget to report your lost passport first! That is absolutely vital.
