Anybody have a link to a useful guide to buying mobile phones from foreign countries? I've gone the google route and can't quite find the right guide for Ireland.

Alls I know is they need to be unlocked. And also tri & quad band are the only types of phones that will work here?

If somebody would care to write some tips, because they're much cheaper to buy from abroad.

    Cheers

Specifically what country are you interested in?

    Have a look at www.mobilefly.com and www.celluloco.com
    Might be of interest.
