    hey all,

I'm just trying to set up my e-mail programs on the laptop at home, as I use outlook in work and have come to like it!!

Not too sure if its possible to do this right though. I have a Hotmail account(a good few years old now, which I heard makes a difference? I also have a MyMeteor mail account and a yahoo account. But the main one I use is hotmail.

I have office 2003 student edition on the laptop and Vista(so has windows mail). Is it possible to get any of these working properly with my e-mail accounts?

I've tried to set up the Hotmail account on Outlook, but although I can see my e-mails on it, it doesnt seem to be working as well as the work computer......maybe its not set up right???

    thanks in advance

Hotmail have long since blocked the use of third party POP3 mail programs from using their system.

There is however a workaround if you really want it to work?
Google for a program called FreePops & read the instructions on their forums, especially the LUA file for Hotmail, you will need that too!
