alot of "weird" players (moves) on the ipoker network.. seems to be the IN thing :) tbh could be either looking back at it now.

could have 57/78 expecting u to check the turn after his flop min raise. I dunno what to make of all this min raising that's going on on ipoker tbh.

I'd fold this. Only a maniac bets $80 into a $20 pot with one pair or worse (and there's no evidence he's a maniac at this point).

I was thinking less about what the min-raise meant, and more about what a min-raise followed by an overbet meant.

A min-raise is usually a kind of cheap way of playing the hand. e.g. top pair/2nd pair trying to find out cheaply where it's at, or a cheap bluff. And sometimes it's a monster trying to provoke a reraise.

But when someone follows up a min-raise with a huge overbet, it negates the whole point of making the min-raise with one-pair or a bluff. So I think it's most likely to be a monster.

whether its a call of fold it should be pretty easy for you to decide. You should have a very good idea about whats going through this guys head after about 2/3 showdowns.

Does he ever raise preflop? if not, then overpairs are in his range. does he ever fold preflop? does he ever fold to a raise preflop? how does he play top pair? how does he play his draws. would he scare push a monster for fear of a suckout instead of maximising his expectation. have you raised small like this oop before? etc etc

just add up all the one pair hands that he goes broke with and perhaps 7h8h, then add up all the 2 pair hands, sets, straights.

you need 44% equity against his range to break even. if he has been aggro and not retarded aggro post flop, then this is what he could have been setting you up for, dont fall into it. your hand is quite transparent to a thinking player unless you always raise this weak from OOP. These players do exist at these stakes.

this doesnt look like ipoker, and if it is i would advies you to play elsewhere for heads up becuase the rake is prob killing you.
