Apologies if this has been posted before but I was looking to buy a 1gb memory card for the kid's PSP. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy (I suppose I mean cheapest ;) ) and what is the best brand.

    Thanks

    muffler

If you don't mind buying a fake card get one on eBay, they should be cheap enough. but I would go for a bigger card I'd reccomend a 2 or 4 gig card.

On expansys.ie you can get a 2 gig Sandisk for 36€ plus Del, which seems good.
They have a 4 gig for less than 100 which is good as I spent 160 on one at Christmas.

    Yeah, I think you're right - better off with a 2 or 4 Gb.

Is it not pre-owned stuff that expanseys sell?

I don't think so I bought a M2 card from them last week and it was packed as new. Go for the cheaper delivery option mine still arrived in two days even though they claimed it would take 5-7

My son has 1GB and it is not enough so I'm on the look out for a bigger one, is there a size limit that psp takes? and any suggestions from where I can buy one?
n.b. it is not a slim psp.

No limit that I know of (beyond a limit on the cards available) any pro duo should work, 8gb certainly does. For example:

    http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Memory-Stick-PRO-DUO/Lexar/Lexar-8GB-Memory-Stick-PRO-DUO

    is £21 ~ €24

The only limit is the size of the cards available, which now go up to 16GB at the moment. In shops the prices for thoses types of sizes are rather larger in most cases, but on eBay a 8GB could easily be picked up for sub-20 Euro and I'm sure there's even cheaper sources elsewhere.
