Hand came up last night which i'm not sure i played so well.....

This is a situation that I encounter often see and I would be interested in peoples views on lines they would take.

    Example.

50/1 PLO 6 handed the table in general has alot of action

I'm not giving info on the villain just yet as i want to see peoples views with no reads.

    Villain Button $300

    Hero BB $220

    Dealt Ac7c5c5s

4 limpers and i check my option in the BB. Flop ($5) is a 6c 4c Jh I check hoping for someone to bet for me so that i can pump when it gets back around, UTG obliges and leads out for 4 which gets 1 caller the villain in the hand, I re-pot it and just our villain calls.

Turn (approx. $50) is a heavy brick that is the Kd....

    Our move?

I'm not sure.... I don't think leading on the turn is the best move tbh. If the opportunity to get it in on the flop arose, I'd take it but here we're a dog to most hands - especially those that lead from UTG. He most likely had a J in his hand and the non-club K could be a good card for him (as Kings often accompany Jacks in a decent starting hand). All this is playing a little tight - maybe I'm gone all scared in my old age. You're now a 2/1 dog to make your hand (we assume) so I'd want two villains in the pot - as you are drawing to nut outs. My two cents

Well the one argument for checking is that we have all the draws, so he's less likely to have a draw. So the more I think about it, maybe its best to c/c this turn. If he checks behind I would fire the river though.

if we have all the draws and therefore he is unlikey to have a draw and more likely to have a made hand, why would we bet a blank river?

we're betting if he checks the turn, because any made hand should really bet on the turn. I check-call the turn here. Would have been nice to get it in on the flop. Sometimes you'll check fold the turn here if he bets the full pot and is not likely to put anymore in if you hit your hand, but that's rare because your straight draw will probably get you paid if you hit it (clubs are your most likely hand).

    so yeah, check call.
