PC wont boot up

    Hi

    having a problem with an old pc i use mainly for programing.
    When i switch it on im getting a disk drive one failure.
    i reseated all bus cables inside pc but no joy. I thin its something to do with the bios settings but not sure .

    any help would be appreciated

    Try entering the BIOS setup menu and see if your hard drive is being detected there. (DEL, F2 or some other key on startup, it normally shows up onscreen which key to press).
