Sony 46" LCD and NTL Digital

    Afternoon all.

Just a quick query about NTL digital. We recently installed a Sony 46WXD and PS3 into the gaff and its flying.

PS3 games look great, as do blu-ray dvd's.

But NTL digital doesnt look too hot on the 46in screen. We've tried varying all the picture settings but not having much joy (using the Pace box and gold scart lead). We cant get Sky Digital in as not allowed to put a dish on the wall of the apt.

Does anybody know if there is any way to improve the image quallity for the NTL digital or is just the way it is.

    Thanks in advance :)

presume you are outputting via RGB and 16:9 aspect

some tvs only have RGB on the Scart 1

The quality of the NTL encoding is very poor compared to Sky , its probably just watching it above 32Inch size it starts to show the flaws a little more

thats the magic of lcd's! great on HD, crap on anything less. you can improve your ntl slightly if u buy an upscaling dvd recorder.

like the sony RDR-HXD860, you plug your ntl box into it and then HDMI it up to your tv and it lifts the picture slightly.
