    I don't know of any sales but be sure to check out chainreactioncycles if you're not in too much of a rush. They did free delivery to the Republic last time I used them. Though, that was almost two years ago now.

    At that time I got a GT Avalanche 2.0 (not the disc brake model) for €330 delivered.

    I saw an ad on the indo for a nice raleigh bike reduced this weekend at Halfords. It has €90 off marked pice was €280 now €190.

    Very good deals and still free delivery. The RRPs shown are real, and they are UK RRPs down here expect the RRP to be 10-20% more due to VAT etc.

    A €99 bike will get you to the shops once a week, it is a false economy if you are doing any amount of proper mileage.

    Try the notice boards in UCD - quite a number of nearly new bikes for sale. The noticeboard outside SU shop had at least 3 for sale.

    Cycleways have clearence prices on 2006 Cannondale and Specialized bikes. Well worth checking out.
