Which Dvd drive?

    Looking to upgrade my IDE dvd drives/Burners to SATA ones. Can anyone recommend me one?

    Plextor are menta make the best drives with also the best customer support.

    Well NEC or Plextor at this stage, NEC has a great modding community for homebrew firmwares that get much better quality burns for media.

    BenQ/Philips used to be best but they are gone bought by another former champ Lite-On who where once the bees knees but faltered a while ago though they are supposed to be pretty good again.

    Samsung/LG aren't bad either not too many players left in this market anymore.
