I recently got a new TV with built in digial receiver. When I did the auto scan I picked up the RTE digital Freeview no problem. As I live on the coast facing the Morne mountians I checked on some of the UK sites for information on UK Digital TV and found the channels they use from Divis . When I scan these I can pick up one Divis transmission for UK Freeview MUXc As this is one of the lowest power output transmissions is there any reason why I can pick this one up and not any of the others?

Also my Ariela is only a loft aerial will moving this to the roof improve things ?

You need GroupA and GroupB aerials on the the roof.

Wouldn't a Group K be easier than throwing up an extra one just for the MUX in Group B from Divis ?

I think the details you are reading are out of date. Mux C is now the highest power MUX, although this used not to be the case. In addition, it is not in Group A, whereas the other MUXs (and analogue channels) are. You need a group K aerial to be able to receive all of them well.

Needless to say as well as being Group K it needs to be correctly polorised (Horizontal) and pointed towards Divis

Unless youre extremly lucky you wont get all Irish and UK mulpiplexes on the same aerial
