I voted for De la Hoya. I'll definitely be getting up early to watch this. Should be a hell of a fight.

Is it on normal Sky Sports or pay-per-view?

    Cheers

Of course!! Wouldn't miss it for the world. Strange everyone on here has DLH as the favourite considering he's the underdog. Hopefully he can pull it out and shut up Mayweather, but it's going to be very tough.

Would love to see De la Hoya take this but I just dont think the year of the puset can inlfuence this one - smart money has to be on Mayweather (unfortunately)

Wouldnt miss this for the world(as long as MMA isnt on).I really want DLH to win but Mayweather will probably take it.I find boxing really boring though and will probably fall asleep:D

I think boxing is great entertainment, it's a level of striking rarely witnessed in MMA. anyone who saw Ketsidis vs Earl and Harrison vs Sprott a while back will know what I mean. I don't know much about De la Hoya or Mayweather but I'll definitely watch the youtube coverage:p

Boxing is a martial art as such, and most people who post on here are fans of combative sports. No problem in posting it here, don't be so nitpicky.

Boxing along with wrestling are 2 of the oldest arts which most others evolved from-most martial artists train boxing to some degree and most are fight fans of all types, i train mma and boxing and like to talk to the lads on this forum so if you have a problem stay off the topic.

De la Hoya weighed in at 154, Mayweather only weighed in at 150. Interesting indeed.. DLH looked to have a nice bit of reach on Mayweather too.

    Mayweather battered him apparently.

I think you should watch the fight.. Mayweather didn't batter anything but his reputation. He ran for the majority of the fight, and gnarled out a decision with pop shots.. At least DLH wanted to make a fight of it. It was a close fight.. but could of been better.

    agreed....
Although he is an awesome fighter, mayweather really does need to really to know when to shut up at times.I felt that DLH was trying to make the buildup to the fight a classical boxing match but Mayweather came out at every opportunity to try and be the next mohammed ali with his comments
