    Macau 1-2 NL HE game
Table hs been playing quite loose and after some donking and slow playing i am pushing for the evening with 450 in front of me

Villain 1 has been quite and i can see he is annoyed at me pushing him around
Villain 2 is tight for the table and uber aggresive his cont bets have been getting through because he tends to bet slightly over pot I have been dying to tangle with him but have not had the chance
    Villain3 is Donk

I am on BB it is last hand of the night
UTG Villain 1 makes it 12 4 callers around to me and i see 99
I make it 65 to play called by villain 1 + 2 when villain 3 ships it in for 120
    I just call(mistake?)
    As does villain 1+2
    Pot 500
    Villain 1 has 150 behind
    villain 2 301
    I cover

Flop 774 rainbow I check (mistake?) and its checked around
Turn 5 putting club fd on board i check villain 1 checks and villain 2 pushs for 300

    ?

Action And yes the 500 is a dead pot

i hate the raise pf. probably call now.

As played PF I probably push the flop or if not certainly the turn, there's too much money in there to allow an over card to fall. I'd have just called PF and play for set Value, certainly I call now

Was villain 2 the american playing on the table,if so he seemed to be showing down very strong hands all night assuming you are on about last night, was gone before last hand

yeah i dont like the play preflop either, dont like raising with 9s but when the re-raise came in i would have pushed seeing as you thought the other players werent strong,
you might have gotten a caller because it was the last hand but i would think that if you read was correct and they werent strong then they wouldnt risk their whole tank on the last hand on a gamble with kq or aj,
and after the call, the flop has to be bet at, overpair is not outthere so the only thing you are behind to is a 7, why give them a free card if they have a lower pair or over cards, you are basically only losing to a 7 the way it was played

    raise pre flop is fine
you couldnt ship it because it was an under raise to 120 unless the rules are different in the Macau
    bet the flop

as played i call but i dont like it

i noticed that too, didnt really know what to make of it, didnt know where he was playing, thought it might have been like the online of how much on top is it etc.

    whats the outcome btw?

douglas people usually dont give the outcome till a certain amount of feedback had been received on the hand.seeing the result is likely to influence people's advice.

in macau i call this all day and just shove flop.

    interesting hand:
    here is what i think:
preflop i think its a min raise back to you so you cant be raising here.(it would have been much more interesting but simpler if it wasnt a minraise).

villain 1 cant not have much of a hand here IMO .
there is enough money in the pot after you call, for him not to shove with AA,KK,QQ unless he is a total rock.
i think his most likely hands are AQ,AK but his range would be TT,JJ,QQ .
villain 2 has a wide range here and deffo nothing big .

flop is a good flop for you.
you only have villain 1 to worry about .
the pot is big enough for you to play the hand for the rest of villain 1 stack anyway IMO so you dont mind playing the rest of the pot with him.

as such i dont like a check here.
the pot is too big for you to allow another card fall and give some one a better hand than yours if yours is currently better.

i think you should shove here .
but once you check and the hand gets check around and then the second time also gets checked by villain 1 that rules him out a big hand for him.

i would shove the turn as well and that was your second mistake.
as played i would unless something about him tells me im behind .

    it wasnt a min raise....

it was what seems to be an underraise
either way, it was either an under raise or an all in, not a standard min raise that all us pro's do

why did u raise so much preflop, hmmm...anyway I guess u were up against an overpair, wat happened anyway ???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 269 ✭✭imalegend

bet flop..actually just saw your stack size..push flop!!!.....you showed strenght pre flop and the only nicer flop you can see is one with a 9 on it!!

This isn't a tournament so it's completely irrelevant and one of you should be doing so anyway to get rid of the other.
