    When choosing a table to play on which of the following is best to choose the most profitable?
    Avg pot size - Avg Vpip- Avg PreF raise %- Avg AF-Avg went to showdown.
    i have been using Avg Vpip

    In my personal order;
    1: Players/ Flop
    2: Amount of money on the table (no shorties) if there are more than 1 I won't sit unless there's a REALLY good reason I'd want to. (see 3. below)
    3: Particular fish I like to play
    4: Avg Pot size
    I can't get the other's when selecting a table but if I could I'd go VPiP as the major factor and the lower the average PFR the better

    For me, it's
    1. Particular fish, maniacs and rocks I like to play.
    2. VPIP - the higher the better.
    3. Pfr - either very low or very high, anything which indicates people are playing a bit off center.

    Unlike ste I'm not so bothered about short stacks, the way I look at it is they have given themselves less options, figure out if they are sitting back waiting for a hand or if there lunatics just in for a mad gamble. Also when one of them inevitably doubles up they are less comfortable playing now they have gone out of their shortstack comfort zone and are more exploitable as a result, imo at least.

    Mine are:

    1. Check VPIP
    2. Check stacks. I generally wont sitdown at a table if more than 2 people have stacks of less than 50xBB.
    3. Which regulars are at the table. Some tables have 3 or 4 ok regulars at them, so it's much tougher to win money and to stack someone
    4. Average pot size
