Whats the best way to connect 2 apts 100m apart using wifi?

I want to share internet access with someone who has an apartment 100 metres from me. Whats the cheapest solution for doing this, using off the shelf equipment (i.e. no DIY antennas). If there is anybody in cork/ballincollig area, I would happily pay them for setting it up for me.
My patio has line of sight to the other patio. Would I need to install outdoor antennas for this? I already have 2 compatible wireless cards for respective pcs and one wireless broadband router.

I'd imagine in an apartment, the wireless router should suffice for a connection of only 100m. Unless of course there's major interferance in between but a fairly standard wifi router should do the job

    Thanks,
So if I am sharing the internet access, I need to install one of these outdoor antennas on my apartment (apt a) and apartment b will then pick up the signal without problem. Am I correct in saying apt b doesn't have to have some kind of reflector on his wall to receive? He will just need the wireless antenna on his network card to receive?

Will that work with one antenna and MiMo being multiple in /out ? I can think of a few ways to do what you want to do , is it just a temporary thing ?

    Hi..

I am in the cork area, and also want to do the same
I have bought the following parts (today) to test (and use!!) and might buy the 14dbi outdoor antenna if needed

    1xD-Link ANT24-1200 Directional Indoor Antenna
    1xD-Link DWL-3200AP Managed Access Point

The first place has a number of walls, pretty thick, will check the coverage and let you know the score

Just remember for the recieving side you want a DIRECTIONAL antenna with a mimo nic (if possible) and the sending side should have mimo also... with that setup at 100m you should get a perfectly strong connection, ive a directional high gain G+ antenna picking up 15-30% singal from about 300M with no direct line of sight, but its not the most reliable, as it never really works when you need it and if more that one computer is associated with the access point forget about it....
