    Hello Guys,

Could anyone have any idea how competitive is it for applying as non-EU dental science candidate in TCD?

And I understand the closing date is Feb 1st, and yet I still haven't received any response yet, when will they publish the offers?

TCD admission told me that they had already send out the rejection letters but I wasn't one of them, does this mean I am in? or it just simply mean I am still under reviewed and may still be rejected in the future?

Any response will be highly appreciated!!

    Thank you!!!

Did Admissions say that you weren't on the rejection letter list, or did you just not receive a rejection letter?

No-one on here will be able to give you a solid answer one way or another - the best thing for you to do would be to confirm the next step with the Admissions Office.

    Best of luck!

I'm not sure if Trinity do interviews, in RCSI they wait until all of the interviews are completed before sending out acceptance letters (even if there are no interviews for your region). Maybe TCD Dental Science follow a similar process? Perhaps they will wait until the mature students and graduate applications are in too before compiling the final list.

If they are sending out rejection letters, they must have an idea of who is in, perhaps they just don't have it finalized or your high school results are awaiting confirmation. Just pester them until they tell you:)

Hey Hairy Potter. Im in 1st year Dental science in trinity. We have quite a few non-EU students. 8 to be exact. I'm not sure how they go about getting in but I can ask one of them next time I meet them and let you know. We have 2 mature students and they have to do interviews and stuff and competition for the mature place is supposedly really tough. I think theyire separate from the internationals though. We have two students from Botswana who I think are on some sort of agreement between their government and the college so I think they're always allocated places. Plus one of our internationals is repeating the year so I think there are five places. Im not fully sure on this so I'll try and get back to you. It's a great course and I hope you get in!
