I sent an email to sky and i asked them if they plan to let mac customers in on this sky anytime and here is the email reply i got back.

Thank you for your email concerning Sky Anytime on PC.

I can confirm that customers who are registering for Sky Anytime on PC via a
non- Windows XP computer will find that you are not given the option to
    download the application.

Sky has selected Windows XP as the operating system of choice to launch Sky
Anytime on PC. Taking into account the features of Sky Anytime on PC, we
feel that Windows XP best meets the needs and expectations of our customers,
particularly when watching videos on your PC.

There are no firm plans to expand compatibility to other operating system at
this time. However, we will always consider customer feedback in our plans
to enhance the product in the future.

Should you require further assistance, please contact me on the above email
address or contact Sky Anytime on PC customer services on 0870 609 4508.

    Yours sincerely

    Customer Relations Department

Already did and got exactly word for word the same reply as you. The irony at the time was that the Windows DRM which they relied on was hacked and nobody was allowed access.

I emailed them back hilighting the error of their ways but had no reply so far and that was 4 months ago.

I doubt they'll support Mac anytime soon, same goes for 4oD, BBCi, or ITV's new offering.

Its sad but I;m sure it might be worth starting a campaign, my vote goes for 4oD because its available to anyone in UK & Ireland with a Internet connection...sky requires an account with them which costs money.

I suppose I should get a Mac first though ;)

I think BBC are pretty much being forced to (eventually) support Mac with it's new online media playing service.
