I've never trained in Luck with the lads but know a few of them from visiting with us and their a sound bunch of guys.

Definitely give Jack a calls, he runs that club. I'm not certain if the senior club is still running, I think it may be just a class for children. Double check with him though, report back if you find out.

There is a class for seniors (Mainly beginners) at 8.15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its in the old libary

Me too. I'm interested in doing some grappling. Had been considering BJJ in defendu in swords, but it's a 20 minute drive and baby places holy jesus restrictions on time. Lusk is just down the road though. Nice one.

there is judo in maynooth near the train station at 3pm on saturdays. sorry ave no info on the newbridge club.

Yup 100%, like I said though its mainly beginners, the top lads are now training in Coolmine.

Ah right thanks for clearing that up.

Lusk Judo Club is in a recruiting phase at the minute. I highly recommend travelling there if you're interested in starting judo or changing things up a bit. It's a bit further out from the city than most clubs, but it's worth it. Jack is a phenomenal coach and a great guy. Plus it's the only place in the Republic you get to see someone wearing a red and white belt.
