Looking to get hold of a fair priced DAB radio and DVB-T player - am happy to get standalone kits, usb dongles or PC add-ons etc.

Both are pretty hard to come by in Ireland because they're only in trial, any I have found have been pricey enough. Don't mind getting them in store or online (and don't mind paying a little extra to get one now rather than wait for a delivery).

Am based in Dublin and should be able to pick up both trials - obviously don't want to get a piece of crap that doesn't work though!

    Thanks for any pointers.

Have been looking for a fair priced DAB radio myself Flogen, would love to hear the trials as well. I notice that you got no replies yet in the Digital TV forum :-(

There are Digital sets (mono) for about €79 in Currys and Dixons, asked in Power City but they haven't started stocking them yet.

Pixmania's cheapest is about €48 but then there's about €12 postage on top.

Had a look on ebay.ie and although Luzern Tech is really based in Ireland rather than Bristol, have had loads of pieces written about them in the business press over the last few years, they are still charging STG£15 postage within Ireland which is taking the p*ss and is one of the habits ebay says it disapproves of.

Would love to know if one can buy a Dab radio off the shelf for under €50.
