ZV plates - 4 or 5 digits?

    This came up a while ago. Seemingly it does go by the county. The lady in the VRO this morning gave me 4 digit ZV number, because it's Dublin. Wicklow, she said, has 5 digits, as does Meath.

    raised metal as in the silver is 1cm higher...3D like, or 1-2mm higher. If the former I can get some contact info.
