Bullpen Woes

Since BJ Ryan went down the Blue Jays bullpen have blown 4 games in 2 1/2 weeks! The difference between 17-9 and 13-13. Guys who were fine in the 7th and 8th (Frasor) now completely incapable of throwing a strike. Guys who were hopeless to begin with (Marcum) being even worse than normal. It's painful to watch. Even their 100mph setup man can now mysteriously only throw 90 and hasn't seen the Majors this year. Last night loss was the worst: A check-swing tipper down the 3rd base side for Hafner that avoids the shift to lose in the 11th
Still, with Ryan, Reed Johnson, Zaun, Chacin and League on the DL and Glaus having been there for 2 weeks, its pretty amazing that they're even at .500.

The fact that the Yankess look in trouble will help your case, but Tampa Bay look much improved.

And so far you have a pretty good record against the Sox.

Just heard BJ Ryan had Tommy John yesterday and is done for the year
At least now I have one excuse tow write off the season with.
