Has anyone heard the major speculation on the Finale and season 7.
All indications are that the final scene cliffhanger of season 6 will feature the return of Tony Almeida!!!!

If there was a satisfactory explanation, that would be fantastic! Who doesn't love
    Tony?!

The way this season's gone so far, I wouldn't put anything past the writers at this stage! :D

If that happens I will be seriously pissed. That would really be going into Dallas territory.

Maybe he will duel with aliens.

    I dunno,
I always thought that Tony's death was pretty lame to begin with. I mean a drugged, supposedly incapacitated, near death guy overpowers him and injects something into him. And he's dead. I always thought it was a huge hole. How was he overpowered. What was in the needle?

    POSSIBLE MAJOR SPOILER

According to a leaked first draft of the finale script, this is the final scene of the season. It was thought that it was edited out of the final script draft, but a recent interview with Sutherland pointed to spoilers that would match up with the following scene.

Yeah but they showed him being zipped up in a body bag.

I hate it when they end a season with a big question mark, it's kind of cheating the viewers. They did it once before (at the end of season 2 when
Palmer got poisoned and collapsed and the season finished without telling us if he was OK or dead
    .
Sutherland was not happy because he said it wasn't fair on the loyalty of viewers so they said they wouldn't do it again.

The Kuja spoiler doesn't mention who it is though?

It is worth mentionging that Kuja's spoilers have been more or less spot on every time.

    No it doesn't.

    BUT!
Alot of circumstantial evidence points to Tony. Not least of which is the fact that a recent US magazine interview with Sutherland quotes him as mentioning the return of a character thought dead.

Add to that, several instances of writers alluding to the fact that Tony is alive (this could be conceived as a poke at some internet forum campaigns though), the fact that Carlos Bernard (the actor who plays Tony) has been seen on the Season 6 set and the nature of the spoiler from Kuja (the person is obviously on good terms with Jack, otherwise the gun wouldn't be lowered and Jack wouldn't go willingly) and you have alot of compelling reasons to assume Tony.

Personally I'm not bothered, but if it sets up a better Season 7, then it may get me back watching 24. I've hated this season, it's been flawed, inconsistant and unfocused.

Excuse my spoiler earlier, I'm not used to these topics. I hope no one saw it that didn't want to. But the word "speculative" made me curious, I love speculation on these matters!

I held off looking at this thread for ages, now I'm breathing a sigh of relief. I mean, I love Tony, but that would have transcended the boundaries of ridiculous.

    No Tony :(

It would of been a silly silly ending, far too Dallas like!

When someone dies in a TV show then comes back to life a couple of years later. Then you find out everything since they died was a dream.

Well they didn't do it and it would have been silly - more so than even Jack's terrorist Dad.

for me victor drazin is the most likely 'dead' person to still be alive
