not that I'm aware off the top of my head unless you find a nice person with a laptop that can do it. consider going to some place in town and transferring them.

you can use my computer if you're still around. I'm off to the gym for about an hour but I'll be back in the office after then.

New and shiny of course! Plus it's quite warm in winter, so I'm told, compared to the rest of college offices.

    oddly enough me too.

And the Lloyd isn't really that fancy new and shiny once ye see the ammount of things broken with it....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,135 ✭✭✭✭John

    What's broken in it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,365 ✭✭✭hunnymonster

the toliets were broken for about 2 weeks, the doors haven't worked properly for the last few nights but my personal favourite is the silent fire alarms! yep they do some sort of testing of the fire alarms without warning and which is silent. This shuts the air-con off which raises the temp, which shuts the computers off which causes mayhem

Ah, I was worried that by giving up the fancy Lloyd to come to Maynooth that I had given up paradise as the building I'm in here has the same problems but with added leakage. Without sounding too mean I'm glad things are on a level pegging (kind of).

we had a leakage problem too! water came down some power line on the roof iirc and caused mad problems for a while

Is it the Lloyd building that has the suicide door?

There is a door leading off the second or third floor of the building that leads to nowhere..

Nope, that's SNIAM. Though it may have one itself...
