Difference between adult and chidrens books?

    Hey,
    I m gonna but the collection of biiks and try and get through before the release of the last one.

    Is there anyt difference between the books except the cover?

    There seems to be a fair bit left out of the films,

    off the top of my head the mirror doorway is not mentioned at all.

    Yeah, well the books are really long so they have to cut loads out of the films.

    The films aren't a patch on the books, IMO. They never could be.

    No film ever is. Dune(David Lynchs) was probably the best attempt, even with so much out and the altered ending.
