    Here we go again,

I will finally have some spare time and some spare €€€ after couple of weeks, so I was thinking to build a nice looking HTPC:) .

Mainly I will use it for divx kind of movies and internet browsing, i will also network this to my main PC. Recording is not an issue at the moment but will come into play once I get used to it. Here are the proposed parts, some of them (in Bold)I already have laying around in my house. Please let me know what do you think.

    Motherboard
    Processor
    RAM
    GFX Card
    TV Card
    HDD
    DVD-RW
    Sound
    PSU
    Case
    Keyboard
    NIC
    CPU Cooler

    Thanks

Nothing wrong with any of that, nice case not seen that ATX case before looks bigger in the picture till I saw some live action pictures of it with a unique placement of the power supply.

I know you have one but you could do away with the IDE cable altogether by getting a SATA DVDRW drive which would help cable management.

I was kind of thinking that too but since this case has second bay for additional optical drive, i think I would be better off with 1 IDE cable for two drives.

What else would be good to get for this package? what would you recommend for a cooling?

Get a Zalman cooler either the 7700 or 9500 will do as they have a manual fan speed control which you can dial down to the slowest setting to keep noise to a minimum.

From the pictures I linked to it does appear to take a full size ATX board the trick is that the PSU is placed at the front which is why the case looks smaller.

got that keyboard a few months ago from this seller

    http://cgi.ebay.com/VISTA-ILLUMINATED-MEDIA-CENTER-WIRELESS-REMOTE-KEYBOARD_W0QQitemZ130105284455QQihZ003QQcategoryZ15389QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

works out at just over 40 euros and it arrived quick enough

the remote is cheaper if you look around on ebay and there was someone sell ati x1300 graphics cards on adverts.ie for 20 euros. Im using my dell pc for basically the same thing as you and that graphics card works great.
