Just a quick question regarding skydiving.

Does each individual Irish club have its own criteria for "Experienced" skydivers ? Is there some sort of governing body that specifies how many solo jumps one must do before being classed as experienced ?

Thanks (Would I be better off mailing the individual clubs ?)

    EDIT:
Whoops, Parachuting Association Of Ireland has the answers I wanted

Would still be interested to hear from anyone who skydives and of their experiences with obtaining their licenses though ?

i think it comes down to people who have passed the various grades on their AFF (Advanced Freefall) course and those who have not. AFF courses are pretty expensive.

I think theres a course available in Ireland, Ill root out the website and post it for u later.
