pc wont boot

system is halted.on millenium edition. can get it to a dos prompt. cant run scandisk. what else can i try.

Millenium is rubbish, best thing is to try back up and install 2000, or XP if your system will support it.

Tapping f8 on boot to get it into safe mode?? it should run 2000 though
