noob-- problem with box

    hi guys
    whhen i turn my box on it takes a while to start up,sometimes saying no sat signal. no when it turns on all channels work bar sky 1 2 3 and half my music channels, i rang sky and since its 2months out of warranty they want me to pay 100euro to have an "engineer" come out to have a look.

    is there anything i can try to fix that could be causing the problem? is it a box problem or the dish, can i fix it?

    sorry guys tried the software udate i seen in another thread and it worked perfect (for now:confused: )
