carrying a tripod...

    hey all,

I'm now the proud owner of a new Slingshot 200AW and a Manfrotto 190XB. They're both great, but I've run into a bit of a problem... Does anyone know of a way to attach the tripod to the bag? My old tripod fit nicely through the loops at the back, but my new tripod is too big... I've seen suggestions of bungee cords and dog collars and looping them either around the bag or through the bags loops...

does anyone have their own suggestions??

    thanks!

If you've got a heavy/valuable tripod I'd get a carry bag for it itself. My cheap and nasty low-end tripod just gets dragged about by my fists ;)

I usually shove my 190DB tripod down over the strap and have it hanging behind me.

There is a loop on the side, small but it works!!

the leg releases make it just that much too big.... I think I might opt for the dog collar suggestion... they're adjustable which is nice, and two should be strong enough to hold my tripod up...

Will two out of the three legs fit in the loop?

I had a cheapy tripod from argos that came in a bag, and the bag also fits a manfrotto 190. black canvas with a over the shoulder strap.
