Hey lads, looking for a good 2 week holiday for start June-ish. I was thinking of Luxor, its in Egypt but i have no idea what its like there. Actually whats Egypt like as a whole ? I've seen too many Indiana Jones movies so i keep getting pictures of begging kids and crowded streets. Not beaches and beer and site seeing.

What time does pubs etc close ? are there niteclubs ? Are you allowed to drink and is the drink expensive ? (Yes i like beer)
