Default EXIF info in CS2

    Hi,

I've gone through every menu I could find in CS2 and Bridge, but I cannot find where it is picking up the information it inserts into EXIF for "Author" and "Creator". I must have set a preference at some stage because it inserts an email address into these fields for every photo as I load the RAW image in Adobe Bridge. Does anyone know where this is configured ?

    Thanks

Not sure if this is what you need, but in Bridge CS2 if you click on the shot and go to "File" then "File Info" you'll find "Author" under the "Description" set and "Creator" under the "IPTC Contact" section.

If it's inserting data specific to you already then maybe it saves previous settings in these areas on the assumption that the same person is using the computer all the time and this data therefore does not normally change from image to image.

    Not sure if this helps:confused:

I can make the change there, but when I open another (previously unopened) RAW image it defaults back to the old email address, even after restarting CS2. I'll just leave those fields out of the EXIF for the moment. I just don't want my email address getting picked up by spam spiders if I post photos to the web. Thanks for the suggestion though.
