Candidato Tempranillo (Spanish red) to buy in a wine shop or off licence. It's available in several restaurants around Dublin, I discovered it in the Market Bar and I love it, but I can't find on the net somewhere to buy it in Dublin.

Maybe there's a wine shop person who might know it or know where I should be looking? pls x

Ring the Wine Development Board of Ireland... they'll tell you everywhere you can get it, that's their job. :)

Call any restaurant you've had it in and ask them who the distributor is. Call them then and ask which retail outlets stock it.

just googled it there an couldn't find a supplier... seems alot of restaurants have it. this could mean that only restaurants can get it, unfortunatly they like to keep their wines to themselves....

Seriously, wine development board should be your first port of call. It's their job to promote wine in Ireland, they're not going to be trying to hide their suppliers etc. Less mess more success.

Thanks a lot everyone, I will try the Wine development board then. Bit unfair of restaurants to keep their wine to themselves, I know they could sell me a bottle but it would cost alot more than retail value i think.

    Thanks again !

    Are these the guys?

I'm dying to get my paws on a certain Prosecco - I know of two places in Dublin that serve it. So it is definitely around somewhere!

I reckon it is. I just give out the phone number in work... it saves me alot of time rooting through order books etc to see who stocks a certain something we don't.
