Wondering where to get a good camcorder €300 / €400 in shop , not brave enough to chance buying online.Tried Currys, Harvey Norman already but no great deals there at the moment. Any help appreciated.

I bought the JVC GR-D340 in Dixons just before Christmas for about €350, was cheaper on pixmania but I needed it there and then. Was the editor's choice in one of those "What DV Camera" magazines.

I know Currys and Dixons are owned by the same people but the same model at the time was more expensive in Currys, I found Power City were more expensive too so it pays to shop around but I never thought I'd find something cheaper in Dixons of all places.
