please help-belkin router

    please could someone help me..i have a belkin wireless router for my laptop but recently wen i go to turn on the laptop the internet wont connect and may not connect at all and then could just connect on its on at any stage but its so annoying and im in the middle of studying for my leaving so i need the laptop 2 b workn..id b grateful for any help..

    It is important to try and isolate where exactly the problem is.

    Have you tried connecting your laptop to your belkin router by ethernet cable to ensure that your internet connection is working properly?

    Do any of your friends have a wireless set up that you could try your laptop with to see if it will work with another set up?

    Have you checked to see if there are any wireless card updates for your laptop? or firmware updates for your router?

    What internet provider are you with as a matter of interest?
