hey i got broadband last week from digiweb. i only have a laptop which has no wi-fi or ethernet port( except one for a LAN). the broadband is working fine. however i bought a belkin wireless router and usb adapter. ive been trying set this up but the install wizard is telling me to connect an ethernet cable to my laptop from the router and i have none except the one for LAN. so i tried this but it doesn't work. any have any suggestions or ideas how to get broadband anywhere in the house??
    any help is greatly appreciated.

Normally you just need to connect to the router once to set it up... you will need to log into the router software via your browser & input your required settings! Your LAN port is your ethernet connection & the usual logon is "http://192.168.1.1/" but check the router manual for this. From previous experience adding a wireless router to my setup I had to put the modem into 'bridging mode" to get the wireless network to work!

    Hope this makes sense...
