This box is all over the place. I know of people around here that are selling them from 150 to 300 but it can be bought over the net for about 100 without software installed. As far as I'm aware its a bit Illegal seen as your illegally decoding the digital signal off NTL. The sites that sell it say it too that it is illegal if you plug it into your cable operator.

They already know about it. from what i heard they have boxes and are trying to see how they can put a stop to it.

Only way NTL can find out if ya have it is to enter your house and check.

It's a criminal office to take cable channels without full payment.

There is likely to be serious trouble given the scale of this.

Obstructing an "investigating officer" (Whatever that is) is a criminal offence.

NTL can disconnect the cable outside your house and back charge premium package too. YOu have to be able to prove you didn't receive any cable.

Doubt it's ntl, you must have that thing connected to a dish if you were watching The Departed on Sky Box Office, ntl don't carry Sky Box Office.

I thought Sky change their encryption every once in a while, not sure how often, I imagine that box will be a very expensive doorstop after that.
