    Do you need a subsciption for this somewhere? can you get all SKY chanels with it?

    You can only get the free Satellite channels from 28.2 & 28.5 with it.

    If its a satellite receiver.

    If it's the cable version you may own it but not legally use it with Cable or MMDS without written permission from UPC/Chorus/NTL, which is not likely.

    Even so to use it with other than the offical NTL card for the channels you pay for is a criminal offence.
