Best dvd recorder with HD for under €400?

    Hi,
    It's time to get a new dvd player so I want to get a recorder with HD.
    My budget is about €400 max.
    Panasonic DMR-EX75 is meant to be very good; gets good review from Cnet http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/dvdpvr/0,39030416,49278854-1,00.htm

    Does anyone
    1.have any other recommendations?
    2.know any other good review sites?
    3. know any good sites for buying?
    4. any other info that might help?

    I was looking on Ebay but would prefer to buy new.

    And I like it. 160 Gb hard drive BUT I've been having problems recording from hdd to disk (which is why I'm on the board). I've NO problem recording to hdd or viewing dvds. Argos in Newry for 199 sterling or down here for 320 euro .

    Sony's hx750 has a 160gb hard drive, usb, divx playback, and hdmi output up to full 1080p scaling. About 330-350.

    Lg has a similar model, cept only upscaling to 1080i, for about 250-280.

    Think the model is RCH277 or something.

    Where did you find it for that price? Best I can seem to find is around €380.

    I'm looking for a DVD-HDD recorder, but under €350.

    My TV and AV Receiver are both Sony.

    the new sony hx750 is 369 in some places.

    panasonic have a new one coming out at 400 quid. all the features of the DMR-EX75 plus 1080P upscaling.

    Pioneer DVR-440 is 329-ish and has an 80GB hdd. no HDMI though. very good machine, i have one of the pioneers myself. very easy to use and great quality.
