As of today the no1 key on my K750i has stopped working :(

Not so bad i guess but i need it for my phone lock code (not pin). Are there ways to turn it on via pc or to clear the code? (davinci program or floats mobile phone (soemthing))

Will opening the phone up and spraying contact cleaner help? Warranty is void anyway since i done the same with the joystick sometime ago.

    Jozi

    * at your own risk of course *

You could try opening it up and using a pin to press the 1 key? Don't bring it to a repair center anyway as they'll wipe the contents of the phone.

You can connect the phone via cable to the pc and issue a serial port command in Hyperterminal to change the code.

    Google "AT+CPIN="

You can? Do you require special software? What is Hyperterminal?

Hyperterminal i think if for connecting modems etc to the pc for trouble shouting etc.

I've no serial port and i dont know where the cable is that came with the phone. I opened the phone up, sprayed some contact cleaner (had to do this a few times) and i just about got the code entered afte rtapping 1 repeatedly, same again to remove the phone code.

I'll be looking for a new one as soon as i get my 1st wages in my summer job.
