I thought this was quite interesting reading, although I may be providing fodder for the Olympus evangelists amongst us ;)

At the moment, it's definitely not a 'feature' that would sway my inclination if I was buying an entry level DSLR.

The whole thing about the 400D sensor being statically charged reminded me of something I was told when I bought my 350D - the bloke said that I should get a mains adapter for sensor cleaning because that would stop it actually attracting dust while I'm trying to clean it. Has anyone actually used a mains charger, and found any difference?

Sounds like someone was trying to peddle a mains adapter... Just make sure your batteries are fully charged before cleaning. It'd be an awful shame if your shutter closed while you were swabbing the sensor :(
