Is the recent turnout at Technology4Business hosted in the RDS an example of the sort of results print advertising from technology magazines gets now a days?

What did you think of the turnout this year?

I personally saw the event advertised in almost every technology magazine I picked up to months before hand.

Did you think the turnout at Technology4Business was more or less from previous years 1 vote

I didn't even bother attending. I was too busy working. Perhaps that whole idea of a centralised exhibition is changed drastically since the 1990s with the advent of the web. While there is the social aspect, there is very little else that can't be seen on the websites of the companies or, if needsbe, solved with a phonecall.

    Regards...jmcc

Like John I was too busy working to go. In general I've found them to be hit and miss in terms of getting value from attending(mostly miss).

I thought it was overall worthwhile this year but it wasn't as busy as last year.

The 1st day was dissappointing, and on the 2nd day we got a lot of visitors from the Energy Expo that was on.
