    Hey ppls,

I was using my computer today and when i went about playing sound and for some reason it stopped working, i mean i was on a skype 1 minute and then my internal mic started interfereing with my internal speakers and it got qiute annoying, the next thing i decided to do was restart the computer...so the problem might go away,

Upon restarting i realised the problem did in fact go away....completely :)...i now have have no sound whatsoever, its like im missing drivers but ive checked and they are all there, where else can i go from here?

    Any help would be great,

    Regards,

    cwynnes

Check Control Panel->Sound and Audio Devices->Audio, see what is listed there. If it is greyed out, try uninstalling the drivers and then reboot, let Windows pick up the soundcard again then reinstall the drivers. See if that gets you any further.
