The 8th W.O.M.M.A. games that have just finished 30 minutes ago in Breaffy Leisure Hotel, Castlebar were a fantastic event. Full credit to all involved in the organising, shame the level of publicity was so poor!

Nothing is made clearer by the write-up. I might as well just guess it's a points karate competition being defined as the "World Martial Arts Open No Rules Kumite" (With Rules and lots of musical katas)

    Would I be right?

I'm pretty sure there're the same crowd that held a similar event in Kilarney about 4 or 5 years ago. Regular enough type of event, just made to sound a lot bigger than it was. Points, continuous and forms/kata. Think there was a grappling section event as well actually, although I hadn't much interest in that at the time! :)

Debra spent a few hours judging Chinese and Okinawa forms, seeing that was worth the entrance fee alone! :D
