Howdy all, Just wondering if anyone has an opinions or reviews of XL (Excel) Airlines. Thinking of taking a trip to the Carribbean on one of their charters and I just want to know what I may be letting myself in for!!

Also links to those airline review sites in the big "Useful sites..." sticky at the top of the forum

btw, you might also want to not post things across multiple forums. You should post a question in one forum only.

Apologies for that, the reviews and reports forum seems to be the correct forum for this, but I am not sure that it gets many hits seeing as its new and all! Please delete or merge as you see fit.

Mmm, search didnt yield any results either for both "xl" or "excel"!!!

    And thanks for the link:)

i flew with them to go to the dominican republic at the beginning of the month, and even though we had an hour delay going out, all in all, i can't complain. Actually, i've got a few things i'll say. The negative was that they did not supply blankets on the way out (they only supply them on the way back), so make sure you have a jumper and trousers. the seats are a bit small, but that's the same for most charters. On a positive note though, the staff were the friendliest and most accomodating bunch i've seen in a long time. They went out of their way to sort passenger problems, always smiling and eager to help, which was a real change to some of the main airlines i've been on recently.

Like most long distance journeys, personally, i think that any delays more than an hour and grumpy staff turn the experience into a negative one, so with charters it's always scarier, because we all assume that there might be big delays. If there aren't, then flying with them is not a problem. Not anything to write home about, but nothing to complain about either
