    Anyone know when this route is going to be upgraded. Judging by the fact that you can get half way to limerick already using the Dublin road, and there hasn't been a peep about the Mallow road, I have a feeling that motorway will be built between Mitchellstown and Limerick instead.

    The N20 appears to be the forgotton N route. The NRA lists the following sections as being at the Planning Stages ie could be years before a single sod turns up to turn a sod.

    Croom to Patrickswell
    Mallow to Croom
    Blarney to Mallow

    Isn't that going to be part of the Atlantic Road Corridor... Finished by 2015... don't hold your breath though
