Dublin bass player wants to start new band

    All in the title. I'm an experienced fretted/fretless bass player who hasn't been playing with anyone for a while. Have been revisiting a lot of mid 90s hardcore ala Botch, Shai Hulud, Deadguy, etc and would love to start a like-minded hardcore band, with a good sense of irony, for the craic. Open to all things punk/hardcore related though. 25, Dublin city centre

    I wana start kind of really! mellow heavy metal, hard rock....like ozzys band, a bit of pink floyd...nice progresiv band....

    I have been playing for twelve or thirteen years, and over here I have a '78 Guild B 302 A, a self designed, luthier built fretless ebony/walnut 5 string, and play through an Ashdown. Influences range from Chris Wood and Richard Davis to Les and Michael Manring's weirdness. I'd like to, however, start a hardcore or melodic/hardcore/punk band just for fun, nothing too serious. Anyone??
